Just seen your later post - you obviously will not agree.
The natural alternative [an iron law in its way] is that all commerce falls into the hands of a relatively small number, their purchasing power is so great they can obtain the goods and services they require at incredibly low rates which means that the buying power of consumers becomes radically reduced which in turn reduces the demand for their goods and services - and the whole structure comes tumbling down. Better governments take measures to reduce their powers before that sorry state occurs.

We should start by lowering or removing most taxes and setting up a land tax and collecting any other needed revenue via tarriffs. We should also denationalise the currency. This might help keep away the global monsters.
