Mr Bennett, I understand what you are saying but recent events in the East prove that Jeffrey Titford no longer have the interests of the party at heart, even if he did several years ago. He is using his position to promote Gulleford as his heir. He also approved the sending of an email attacking UKIP members in the East because they may threaten Gulleford's chances of selection. Many would say that this is an abuse of his position. He accused the speakers of self promotion which could be taken as an attack on Gerard Batten and David Campbell Bannerman as they were listed as speakers. This was done only a few days before important London and local elections. This hardly helped the party. He also ignored the NEC who said the conference could go ahead. Are these the actions of a man with UKIP's interests at heart?
On a personal note I feel that perhaps John West could have used more local speakers rather than the big guns but as I say that is just my opinion.
