Further Information.
1. The meeting in question was held at the Troxy in a side room. It was intended for Eastern Counties members although I was told that other members from other areas may attend. Imagine my surprise when Titford and Gulleford refused access to Bannerman and Batten. It turned out that both were rumoured to have MEP ambitions in the East. Because of this Gulleford asked Titford to deny them access. Imagine a situation where you ban Bannerman, a Suffolk PPC and Deputy Leader from a UKIP meeting! On another two occasions Titford has referred to Gulleford as "my successor". Titford has no right to do this. It is up to the members to decide who succeeds him.
