The constituency he represents - Rushcliffe (near Nottingham) - is part of a strongly eurosceptic/anti-EU area (UKIP got over 25% of the vote in the 'East' Midlands EU 'regional' constituency which includes 'Ken' Clarke's seat at the last EU Election).

I am quite sure that many of those in Rushcliffe who vote for him at General Election are not aware that he is pro-euro, pro-EU Constitution and anti-EU Constitution referendum.
