Yet more received wisdom from the rebels. Who exactly is a ‘non entity’ then? Whom would you appoint instead? Griffin’s qualities are that he’s a superb speaker and brilliant on TV & radio. Surely it’s appropriate - especially in this day & age - that a party leader should have these qualities in abundance.

Thanks to elements of the media, much of the public have been persuaded that the BNP are no better than dumb animals. Yet Griffin is able to run rings round many media 'personalities' in this depressingly shallow age – one advantage, maybe, of being ‘intellectual’, which you seem to disparage.

And wouldn’t it be slightly ridiculous if some low-ranking press officer were to possess all the qualities I’ve mentioned, whilst the leader him-/herself was an inarticulate buffoon?

I was aware of ‘Young, Nazi & Proud’ made when he was still 20 years old & at college. What was the other one?

And what does it matter anyway? His role is that of graphic designer – a job he carries out perfectly well.

A plateau? 100 councillors now, I believe. A further point is that a lot of people contributed to Richard Barnbrook’s success – most of the country’s most dedicated activists, in fact. They came from all over Britain to help with the London campaign.

You judge far too much by appearances and – like all the other young rebels, probably – expect brilliant results too quickly.

It isn’t easy – ask UKIP, & they don’t have comparable image problems to the BNP.

A small party challenging the two-party system in this country whilst being obstructed & impeded by the media? In fact we’re doing great. You need to be in it for the long haul. But since you obviously disagree you are quite free to vote for Auty - or the next challenger that comes along, & the next one no doubt after that (like waiting for the next bus). Or form your own party, if you think you know best. See where it takes you. Best of luck.

How many members? Apart from the professional rebels, not many, I would have thought. And the elections have just brought us a great many more enquirers & new members.

Anyway everything you say will be reflected in the next leadership election, if it is true. Should your man win & Griffin lose, then you’ll have won the argument, won’t you. I just somehow doubt this will happen, that’s all.
