I am shocked. Redundancy in my eyes, is when a position is made obsolete.
The fact is here, the position isn't being made obsolete at all, just the board (public) taking the decision to fire the old staff and get someone in to do a better job.
No wonder politics is crawling with career lackies, who don't really give a **** about anything but feathering their own nests.
Contractors should fight for this kind of "right" too then.
