I'm staggered that the EDP could possibly entertain an alliance with the England First party. Let me reiterate (as a BNP member) that most of the EFP are people who have been kicked out of or left of their own accord the BNP. As the BNP tries to build a modern, democratic and electable party, the EFP is a repository for those that have resisted this trend, many of which have outright anti-semitic views and others beyond the pale.

Their founder Mark Cotterill left the BNP necause it had "sold out", ie moderated, and became part of the White Nationalist Party, an overtly neo-nazi grouping. When that group couldn't register as such with the Electoral Commission, they formed the EFP to contest elections. They have since broken away and are basically a tiny group of about 150 members in the North West.

The difference between them can be summed up by this. I would be happy to meet Ed Abrams and have a drink with him. The EFP would bombard him with a torrent of anti-semitic abuse.
