Its a National Disgrace
What do Greenland, Albania, Mauritania, Kyrgyzstan and France all have that England doesn't?
Well, apart from Kyrgyzstan, they wouldn't give you much of a score in a game of Scrabble, and aside from Greenland, they have all been known to do a bit of invading into
other peoples' territories..... So what could be the common factor?
True, they all have national leaders, no matter how despotic - mind you, so does England in the shape of occupying Generalissimo Gordon Brown. But they also all have their
very own national anthem. A song they have chosen that best represents their hopes, aspirations,beliefs and goals. You may think that having a national anthem is a bit of a tricky process - something a bit hard to achieve - and in the case of England getting one, that iscertainly true, judging by the excuses proffered by this government. But for virtually all the countries and territories throughout the world, picking an anthem has been as easy as having a national legislature. (Oh dear, I've just discovered another thing most other countries have but England doesn't)....
