st Conservative Party....504,941 26.53%
nd Labour Party............466,584 24.51%
rd Liberal Democrats......288,790 15.17%
th UKIP...................... 232,633 12.22%
th Green Party............ 158,986 8.35%
th Respect....................91,175 4.79%
th British National Party.. 76,152 4.00%
th Christian...................45,038 2.37%
th English Democrats......15,945 0.84%
th Peoples Party.............5,205 0.27%
.English Democrats 25,569 1.04% - so just less than 10,000 extra votes, despite a much higher turnout and the party being bigger than in 2004. But guess its better than UKIP's collapse.
