Absolutely, but so would every other candidate. The difference is that everyone else had the chance, but RS was denied party membership just to stop him even applying... which suggests that the NEC felt that he had a strong chance of making it on to the list and wished to prevent it.
Back to Bob Spink though. Should he be encouraged to apply to be on the MEP list?
