How anyone can really claim to want a pro-Euro Labour party candidate to beat the BNP, just because of petty party rivalries is beyond me. The BNP may well have at the top people that many despise, but then so does UKIP, at least to me because of my experiences with some of the gravy train cretins that I came across in the last ten years.
The election of ANY anti-EU candidate, no matter which party they belong to, should be applauded and trivialised, and the ED's unfortunately made an impact that only benefitted our opponents to federalism, that is NOT a good thing.
For me, it matters not one jot which party takes us of our Europe, as long as they get the job done, and that is not too unlike the opinions of Farage some time ago, though he was referring no doubt to his wealthy friends in the boring Tory camp.
