British-Conservatism is an unknown quantity at this point
Default UK Election Under PR

If the UK changed to a system of proportional represention where the result exactly matched the % of the vote what % do you think the main parties would get if an election was held tomorrow?

Apart from the big three parties I can see UKIP, the Greens and BNP as the only other parties that would stand a full slate of candidates across the UK in such a situation.

Here is my prediction.

Labour - 28.2%
Conservative - 33.1%
Lib Dem - 15.8%
BNP - 6.9%
Green - 4.9%
UKIP - 2.5%
SNP - 2.4%
Others - 6.2% (1.4% under 41,000 votes needed for a seat).

In terms of seats discounting the parties that receive under 41,000 votes which would be about whats needed for a seat the other's would have 9 seats less but ill leave them in for this one.

Labour - 182
Conservative - 214
Lib Dem - 102
BNP - 45
Green - 32
UKIP - 16
SNP - 15
Others - 40

Would be very interesting to see what coalition could be formed out of this lot.
