UKIP will not end up in an obsolete state until it has been outlawaed along with the other parties who have the countries people and interests at heart.

UKIP have three hurdles left to jump, the first hurdle is this week in the local elections,if they get more than last year,ie one, then that is an improvement.

UKIPs second hurdle is next year in the European Union Elections, last time they had 12 MEPs elected with nine still in situ, therefore, they should expect more than the original 12 MEPs to be elected,as that would be an improvement too.

The third hurdle is in 2010 General Election,UKIP currently has one MP,Mr Bob Spink, wheather he runs for UKIP or not next time is important, but if he doe, then progress would be shown by another UKIP MP being elected as well as him being retained,if he doesn't run for UKIP,then UKIP needs to have one MP elected, that would also be improvement as well.

Until such time as others like the bnp have National representation in the HoC,HoL and the EP it seems silly for them and others to try to compare themselves in any way with UKIP.
