It's not as though the papers have alternative exciting stories to tell. The Times seems to have some sort of aversion to UKIP - UKIP rarely get a mention. I have to wonder whether this is on the orders of Rupert Murdoch.

Searching through the Times Online website, I can not find an article on Bob Spink's defection to UKIP.

UKIP gets much better coverage in the Telegraph and even the Grauniad.
