Seriously, I don't intend giving up on any fight - I just don't do that kind of thing. However, the only real resource we're able to use in this fight is the Internet - and this laptop I'm typing on right now works just as well on a beach in Costa Rica as it does in a house in the sunny West Midlands. The battle can be conducted from anywhere. In fact, there's probably a few advantages to conducting the battle from outside the UK rather than doing it from inside. Lack of ability to be arrested for pointing out the truth, for example. Many more reasons but I won't go into them on a forum where the enemy's minions are watching.

Rationally what you say is correct, however the problems does not seem nearly as pressing if you are not experiencing the effects of the ever greater restrictions in your daily life. If there is a way out, it will most likely come from the pressure impacting on the many which will need to find some release [a head of steam]. Like steam it will break through at the weakest point - the ever more obviously unjustified restrictions on smoking may well be this weakest point.
