What really intrigues me is who is behind the desire to eliminate smoking. There is no doubt that alcohol is equally, if not more, damaging and results in far more third party damage. Gambling also produces some pretty dreadful consequences, not only to the addict but also to their families - yet no one seems to be trying to eliminate alcohol or gambling.
Is it because alcohol and gambling don't have such an effect on the working day as smoking - are the giant corporations behind it - they don't like smoke breaks? Without a doubt this is social engineering at it's worst!
