All the time one has to look back to better times. This is because of the continual erosion of liberty which has taken place, arguably, over centuries.

For my family the best times preceded the usurpation of the British throne by German interlopers and their corrupt placemen. That's three centuries ago!

But in recent times the age of Thatcher was enjoyable, because in so many ways she wanted to put the clock back. and in some ways she did - for a while.

Since her betrayal the onward march of the scumocracy has continued.
