But the same is true for the word "Murdoch" and that is the sort of media, perhaps with the Guardian, which is all that will be left without the BBC. Murdoch and Murdochesque publications and channels.

ITV was rubbish unless you like Corrie and reality TV, Channel four was better and BBC actually had the best programs on normal TV.
In Australia the public TV is alot weaker and TV in general here is dire, most of it is sport and reality TV. There could be a correlation.
