You are again incorrect. It was a political union formed by dissolving two sovereign parliaments to form a new state, which so happened to be known as the Kingdom of Great Britain. This being the island of Great Britain plus other islands (Isle of Wight etc.)

Perhaps if they'd called it 'Kingdom of Oompah Loompah Land' we wouldn't have this confusion now.
