What I also regret is that so many of the conspiracy theory nuts is that they fail to grasp that spinning their rubbish as fact adds an aftershock to the terrorist outrages by causing the naďve to question if their elected government really are part of some global conspiracy to wage some unjust war against an “innocent” enemy.

The effect is similar to the false bomb alerts following bomb attacks by the IRA. Not only was there the terror, and believe me, where bombs did go off,. There was just as much terror for the false bomb alerts as well.

But let’s look at the rubbish you spout about Netanyahu and the “warning”. As a source to repudiate it let’s not go to one of “The Usual Suspects” but rather to the Guardian, not a noted “friend of Israel”, and the article on the 15th. July 2005.

The second, wearily familiar theme casts not the US but Israel as the culprit.

This time, the hare was set running by an Associated Press story – retracted shortly afterwards - claiming that the Israeli Finance Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, mysteriously cancelled his appearance at a London conference that morning because he had had some kind of warning that attacks were coming.

Later it emerged that Netanyahu had indeed chosen to stay in his London hotel room – but only because the explosions had already happened.

His security advisers decided it was too risky for him to venture out while bombs were going off.”

Now to the other silliness.

You write “So you consider the deaths of 3000 Americans a good thing”

That is simply not worth replying to other than to observe that if that is what you deduce from what I wrote then it goes a long way to explain why you (apparently) believe the conspiracy garbage that you peddle so much is “the truth”.
Bear,

Please don't try to make out I'm the one being unreasonable here...

You said "He was right. It woke a good many people up to just what a foul thing Islam is.

Forgive me but it sounds like you are saying it is a good thing because it woke people up, irrespective of the people that died in the event.

Please explain if you're of a different opinion.....

I noticed the AP article was retracted too, but I suspect it was not for the reason the Guardian stated.

To provide an example of other retracted websites/articles if you look at one of my previous posts:

“Fuel and Planes Alone Did NOT Bring the Tower

you will see that the website http://newamericancentury.org/Rebuil...asDefenses.pdf
has also been pulled.

This is where the US neo-con think tank in 2000 said in their report "Project for the New American Century" - "Rebuilding America's defences":

"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor."

http://www.newamericancentury.org/Re...asDefenses.pdf (pg63)

If you don't believe it then look at the same quote mentioned in this article:

America Pearl Harbored

Obviously articles are likely to be retracted not because of error, but to stop the information getting unwanted attention in the public domain.

And that's exactly what happened too when the BBC apparently "lost" the tape of them reporting Building 7 collapsing 20 minutes before it actually came down (though you can still find easily enough it on youtube)

Also you failed to answer my question:
"How do you explain the exact same terrorist drills occuring at the exact same time and location ?"

Co-incidence ?
Do you know what the actuarial odds of that are ?

I know it's difficult to believe Bear but if you took the time to watch "Loose change" you would instantly realize that I'm telling the truth, not fantasizing on some conspiracy theory....

I recommend you watch it - if only to eliminate the possibility in your own mind.

If you think it's just a bunch of kooks who believe such things "bear" in mind about 80% of Americans believing the government had involvement in the 9/11 attacks.

That one hell of a lot of "conspiracy theorists" !

And it also includes a lot of prominent scientists, the ex German defence minister etc etc...
