err? I thought the commonwealth actually had less members now than in the time when good queen vicky ruled. We gave away Hong Kong for a start.

So surely 'shrinking' commonwealth would be better?

Unless, of course, we count countries where we are present illegally. In which case Afganistan and Iraq are now part of our commonwealth, which explains the 'fast growing' bit.
