This is one of the main issues that turned a lot of potential 'rebels' against them, and made those who supported them initially, realise something wasn't quite right.

Yes, both are actionable - i only hesitated with the latter because of the costs and risks involved. but i can understand your feelings, and at the time I questioned whether such actions wouldn't turn people against them.
