My belief is the reason is twofold.

Firstly because so many Black youths live in areas and conditions of social depravation similar to that which the gangs of old lived in and who got up to just as much trouble if not more.

Do you remember, not just have read about but remember the old gangs? The Richardson’s the infamous Kray’s, the gangs of Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow?

In addition the “culture” that their parents brought in survived in the absence of being able to integrate has not yet been ameliorated by time and exposure to our own, and so many of the black youths don’t just feel but ARE segregated in society.

Why do Chinese and Indian immigrants commit far less crime than Blacks?

Because they do not generally face the same social conditions as the Black youths.

They do not face the same suspicion and social segregation as do Black youths and so do not feel so alienated towards society.

There’s far more “gang” related factors involved than skin or race related factors and the “gang” factors are down to the social segregation that they face day by day.

I think that you are concentrating far too much on the symptoms of the disease, and insufficiently on establishing what the REAL root cause of the disease is.
