Depends on people seeing them and the event being recorded and processed as part of the statistics. Some of these groups commit quite minor crimes like stealing from shops that can't afford to have proper security like Pound Store, 99p Store and various charity shops like Age Concern.
I have even watched as they were looking around while hovering around the jewellery and sunglasses area, when they thought I wasn't looking these slipped a pair of £3.49 sunglasses and 4 £2.49 necklaces into a Primark carrierbag and started to move to the door. They left without the items, cussing me out in their own language. RUDE!!!!
Next time they try it, they're gonna get a slap!!
