I appreciate how you feel [and I trust you believe this] but, at this juncture, a modicum of restraint might be better for the FEP in the longer term - regardless of how petty others might be. This is not to say that more vigorous postings might be made in other circumstances ie when both the EDP and FEP are not engaged in local elections as they are presently.

Yes, and it is something that our chairman has advised FEP members. We want to build a party that is seen and indeed acts different to what has gone before. We want to be a credible party and see it as a way to build trust with the electorate. We have learned much from the EDP (good and bad) and believe this experience can be used to develop our party.
There are of course many members of the EDP that are decent people who we can work with. There are also several that we will never see eye to eye with, as you well know! I guess we will have to wait and see what happens after the elections.
