I think the guy/gal is threatening to break s2 in relation to you, assuming that he is going to spread untruths to try and get you the sack. You might want to take further legal advice as I am not a practising barrister and am only trying to point you in the right direction.
What is wrong with the English nationalist side of politics? Have you guys got a political death wish or something?

Thank you very much for that impressive reference. Section 2 does seem to fit the bill.
I am well known for my honesty (aka a blunt yorkshireman), and merely replaced my employer's name with the xxx.
I will ponder awhile, but despite what seems like good advice, I do not want to get the police involved at this stage. They have far more serious matters in London to deal with.
A part of me also remembers what it was like to be newly divorced, short of money, too distant from my children etc. Such unhappy circumstances are no fun and do not bring out the best in people.
