Thanks Cassie, I'm not aware of any EDP candidates standing in my ward, and I have not been informed by the EDP either. I think there will be the usual three, plus UKIP, the Greens, and maybe BNP, who stood last year and did quite well if I remember. I think the good thing is that at locals, the smaller parties can stand and I believe voters quite like having a wide ranging choice. I remember when I stood for the EDP the guy at the council who did my nomination form thought it was quite refreshing to see a new party. I guess they must get bored too with the usual three horse race!
