The overhead power cables are there because too much power is lost in transmitting the electricity to the end user. Modern technology is capable of reducing the loss considerably making it unnecessary for such high voltages to be carried in the lines. Most maintenance work has to be carried out because of storm damage. Using underground cables would reduce the stress on the lines that creates a lot of the wear and tear.

50 years ago Britain had the manufacturing capabilities to manufacture it's own ships, planes and weapons, but not anymore! To rebuild Britain's manufacturing capabilities of 50 years ago would cost £Billions, for a start we've lost the skills, we'd have to import a stack of foreigners to teach us how!
Britain still has the capability to manufacture what we want. It's the political policies of the past 20 years that have erroded the manufacturing industry. That can soon be built up. As far as I'm aware, the majority of foreigners who have been 'imported' have been unskilled workers, only over here because our minimum wages are much higher than in their own countries.
I, personally, don't like the idea of paying foreign workers and countries to build any military hardware like ships etc.

Christian assemblies in schools? I wouldn't want any Religion in schools! Children should not be indoctrinated by the state into any religion before they're old enough to make up their own minds!
We can't please everyone all the time.... This is obviously your personal opinion. I also believe what you say. However, many British people wish to retain the Christian beliefs that were the basis of Britains moral teachings and laws. Thus it would only be as a result of serious debate and, probably, a referendum before any changes were made to this.

Wind power? I'm surprised that is even mentioned in any manifesto it has been so discredited by various independents!
Not just wind power. There are many other alternative power sources out there that need investigating and, were possible, utilising.

I agree with a lot of things in the manifesto, but you have still got an unhealthy fixation with "Johnny Foreigner"!
Don't know what you mean by "unhealthy fixation". Can you elaborate a bit more?

I cannot see the BNP appealing to the wider public even though in my opinion it has some good policies. It has been blackballed by the British media for too long, (at times quite deservedly) to ever have a wider appeal than it's present base!
It is the blackballing by the British media, including the BBC, that has made our efforts at elections an uphill struggle. Were the UKIP and other fringe Parties to be faced with the same amount of 'bad press' and bare-faced lies from Government-backed agencies like UAF and Searchlight as the BNP have, they would probably crash at the first obstacle.

But like it or not, the fact remains that the BNP have proven to be more and more popular over the past few years. It may well be down to pure protest, nothing else, but this only shows that the mainsteam Parties are ignoring the public at their peril.
