I first met her and Peter Reeve at the Candidate Conference before the 2005 General Election. They are both seem very hard working people and exactly what we need in UKIP. UKIP unfortunately could find itself a victim of its own success when the MEP Nomination process gets under way in earnest since there are UKIP winnable seats available so the stakes are much higher than 2004.
The highly parochial nature of UKIP Members almost guarantees favourite "local sons" will get selected rather than selection on merit or ability. Eastern region already has its heir apparent in place (well as far as a certain Mr Gulleyford is concerned) and anyone who might challenge that position is immediately subject to anonymous rumour and innuendo on this forum, I wonder why? The same scenario applied to DCB. There are some fairly obvious "Private - Keep out" signs being erected around various UKIP Fiefdoms at the moment!
