Stop the Treaty
The programme for the conference is still subject to change, as events develop, but is now taking provisional shape.
Speakers from the platform will include Delroy Young, Trevor Colman, Professor Tim Congdon, the Earl of Dartmouth, and Roger Knapman. These will develop the challenges we face, and actions which can still be taken to stop the Lisbon Treaty passing into law.
There will be an IT presentation showing street campaigning, but also showing the latest results of opinion polls, on the Treaty, on UK membership of the European Union, and on UKIP’s election chances.
There will be an ‘Any Questions’ panel, which will respond to questions from the audience. Panellists will include Dr David Abbott and Eric Edmond, a newly-elected member of the NEC.
And there will be an opportunity for an open debate on a number of resolutions, following reports given by co-ordinators who have been bringing together your opinions and suggestions as to how we can move forward.
On the website they are asking for ideas etc to be sent in, see "Have you say", which is very encouraging.
