But in reality it was your problem as such, not the internet's.
Anyway honestly no offence intended towards you at all so hope you haven't taken any - just trying to make my point.
I'm just tired of articles like these, and how easily people tend to believe the propaganda of them.

No offence taken whatsoever YCHTT.
I do believe that the internet can be addictive though, very addictive and I have never have a myspace account, bebo, facebook or any other networking site. I don't view porn on the net, don't have a blog, go to dating sites or even use msn. All I used was my google mail and yahoo mail account and posted on a couple of forums, I noticed it was the debating forums that took up too much of my life.
Now though, with the University subjects I am doing I simply have to use the net more than I would like. I have links upon links to read regarding education and history, I now have a separate e-mail A/C for uni which I have to check daily, I have a studyzone site which has to be checked daily and of course the computer has to be used to type up essays.
Anyway, I know this is going slightly off topic but this problem is something I can include in an essay regarding 21st century education. As far as I can see, the debate against home schooling on the net is that children may not do it, or may get somebody else to do it. I am going to include the health hazards of addiction to the net.
Do you see what I mean, I made a cup of tea at 08:55 this morning, I am still drinking it (suprisingly it is still warm) and it is now 09:21.
