I have come to the conclusion that it is pointless to complain on this forum. The thread is pointless, the moderators come from Demolition Man, some posters are privileged and there is no justice, just us. So, very much like the world we live in then in which it has also become fruitless and pointless to complain.
I hereby give up all hope or intention of ever complaining on this dear forum again. May it find its own level. May its posters bask in their own good intentions. It is a good forum. (I was wrong before). The mods are all archangels. (I was wrong before.)
When someone attacks you beyond the call of anything on earth, take it on the chin, you are wrong and your attacker is right. If one can remember this one will do well here. One may look like one has just crawled out from under a gang rape, but, hey, that is what freedom is all about isn't it? (I forgot to add, "sweetie" and "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen".)
But anyone who stays long enough will soon be able to sport the scars and laugh really loudly about what a fool he or she once was, in the old days when he or she believed that the individual had some kind of right to integrity and that hitting below the belt was against the rules. Not in our brave new democratic world. Hit them wherever you like, just be careful not to do it to the ones wearing the silver flash on the left shoulder. They are happiness fairies. They will send you to prison.
