Your best bet Tombstone is to give it a go after June/ July when the River Tamar comes into its own with Rays, Wrasse, Pollack, Macks, Conger and Bass, if you are shore fishing head for the Cornish side and a place named Mount Edgecombe,
The shoreline is easily fished and is the deepest part of the river, the best bait is peelers or spinners.
