However first they need to try an avoid some of the controversy that seems to surround them. I don't think David Noakes "No EU" website would have persuaded a lot of people to vote UKIP (is Noakes still a member?), nor those videos of the woman dressed as a super hereo complaining about the occult in EU or whatever it is she rants about now, or Ashley Mote or the gaff over the Libetarian speaker.
There also seems to be a lot of arguing over things like the copper who filed the treason complaints against the government, UKIP members giving speechs to the BNP.
Sort the above out and you'd certainly give less ammo to those who are pro-EU etc.
