I repeat what I said earlier that mpkdavies started this silly name calling several years ago but those early posts are not openly available now to prove my point. However, whilst searching for those posts, I came across a thread that I started just over a year ago because of those silly personal abuses and conspiracy theories :-

1. That a separate sub forum be set up for conspiracy theories of any sort.
2. No post is allowed which doesn't refer back to the originator of the argument.
3. Rhetoric i.e method of debating, isn't allowed in the discussion.
4. A series of primers is created for the less experienced members & newcomers to the forum.
5. Simple statements like 'There's a ch4 program on at xpm on CH4 thursday be moved to a 'notices' section or Talk about anything.
(any rational debate on the program or whatever it is should be left until after but again following the earlier rules).
6. all posts should be 'value-adding' to the debate - (thus personal abuse is debarred).
I would also like to see this as a closed forum, admittance by full name, email address & postcode available to participators only.
I will explain my ideas on some of these specific points in more detail if you wish. but I'm not going to continue to debate in other topics in this sub-forum until it raises itself from garbage level significantly.

MPKdavies has, since inception, deliberately provided references of dubious provenance to undermine true science and promote his conspiracy theories. In doing so he has called anyone with a divergent view stupid names.
With regard to Feldoon, pretty well all his contributions to this and most other threads have brought nothing relevant to the discussion, only silly & pointless rhetoric. It's on record that he has clashed even with many who I would label conspiracy theorists. Until he changes his technique, I won't respond further to any of his absurdities.
Thus, imo, we should be discussing here ways in which we, as individuals and for our country, can influence what little we can to mitigate some say overwhelming disaster for the world. I don't believe in every disaster scenario & I think we can do something about it.
But the tactics of some here are just to spoil - a pointless waste of everybody's time.

And M3’s last remark is telling because that is what I deliberately decided to do –
but only in response to an attack upon myself. I may indeed have attacked first in a few cases because experience on this forum has been particularly bitter and hidden trolls have come & gone and are probably still here.
I say again to mpkdavies:-
a. show the posts insulting me leading up to my insults
b. prove that I am not qualified as a scientist or publicly apologise.
