I have been a member of this forum since early 2005 and yes, in that time I have racked up nearly 6000 posts. That does not preclude me from a life, thanks for your concern.
I was given moderator status in 2006 because a large number of people trust me to make a sensible decision.
Finally, this is a forum where we allow almost all types of discussion but it is the right of the forum owner to control discussion. Anthony owns the forum and he was one of those who selected me to be a moderator. Aardvark is also a moderator.
If you don't like it here, don't come here.
