Never mind about the conventional political process because it's flawed to such a degree it's not worth keeping.

What we need is love not lies, which means to love the truth, love of people, ie to want the best for them, love your country, ie to want the best for it. And it doesn't mean to act blindly believing you are right and only you are right, that is not love of the truth, it means to always want the best result for the best reasons and you'll always work toward that.

But what does politics means :- to lie, to be 'economical' with the truth, to only speak that which is to your advantage and withhold information which is not to your advantage, to make what you say have the appearance that best suits your interests and the purpose of personal power and influence, to deceive by ommision, hide the truth, put off telling it

Therefore politics is not good not the road to get to a good place. It's all wrong, people should tell the truth as it is, represent the facts as they are and say what they really think and believe.

What we need is a new idea of this kind of discussion which is not based on politics but based on the truth and everyone has to be measured against that and nothing else, the truth as best it can be understood of course .
