Their political ideology is what is important. Saying that, I would not vote for Clegg because of his ideology. I would vote for Ron Paul though, even though we disagree on the God issue, because it does not matter one bit.
Well a christian might find more common gorund with another christian than an atheist, it is about indentifying with someone and what they stand for. That is the right of the individual.
