Despite Mike's pronounced personal pessimism
this feeling of gloom and disillusion pervades most countries worldwide. People have become scum. Politicians do not represent even them and humanity is facing many challenges, the greatest of which is to stay diverse and intact so that whatever is on its way toward our gleaming planet will be dealt with in time. There must be something worth saving (besides the earth which is innocent), so some of us have to be optimistic some of the time.
Feel for ya, Mike. Feel the same. But have a stupid kind of chutzpah that keeps making me believe that some moment might actually produce some man...
