They have forced people out of the Liberal Dims for making pro-sovereignty (i.e anti-EU) remarks before now. A number of former Liberal 'Democrat' party activists are now in UKIP.
There was anger when one Cornwall Liberal 'Democrat' MP made comments criticising the euro and defending our Pound. He very quickly went quiet after the fuss in his own party over what he had said and has never (it seems) spoken publicly on the matter since.
