Don't be patronising.
I am firmly against the loss of sovereignty but I have not yet seen any evidence of the EU is a police state
yet. Aiming to be one is not the same thing as actually being one.
Regarding free speech, most of the restrictions on free speech have come from our own politicians, not from the EU.
