zak,
thank you also for taking the time to reply!
its very pleasing to hear that the immigration system you (ukip) is one that echo my thoughts.
i hope that the masses of ukip-forum now know that my attitude to your party is open minded, now that i have heard what some of you has to say!
it just seems the 'others' (mainly lib's) seem to offer an 'easier' vote -its safer to vote for them, and as you say, ukip addresses issues that perhaps would be considered taboo by others.
i saw some leaflets with comments like 'we wont allow camera's in bins' amongst other such phrases, it seems these comments immediately alienate my peers as 'we' deem it useless, almost missing the core values of ukip altogether and focusing on other issues. i cannot remember the specifics of the leaflet i read, but it was left behind by myself and peers.
i'd still like to hear more comments on the co2 issues, while the debate to its cause/global warming is a whole topic in its own, emissions do need to be reduced globally.
taxes have been mentioned, my friends and i (well, i used to before starting my own business) all pay or have paid approx 600-800 a month in taxes & ni, while this may not be a super large salary, its quite a significant sum to be given to the govt, along with council tax and road tax. if ukip wish to reduce tax, how would the current infrastructure cope with reduced income?
thanks,
