For a political party that is just 5 years, has minimal financial support and has received very little media coverage, I feel the progress we have made in having councillors elected to the lower tiers of local government in Norfolk, Berkshire, Hampshire, Sussex and Yorkshire is a success. I feel our performance in May's local elections was overall successful and I feel the party's strategy for forthcoming elections shows the English Democrats are progressing. Obviously Tom Wilde and others may view things differently, but for me I view the progress we have made in five years as successful.
Whether the SNP should have been invited to our conference or not is a matter of personal opinion. The fact remains it was a sell out, demonstrating the rise in support of English nationalism.
