Successes????

In order to remove their first English Democrat councillor in North Yorkshire from the National Council, they expelled him in absentia from membership, without giving any prior notice of intention to do so, and in complete negation of the Principles Of Natural Justice, did not tell him of what he was accused of (either then or since) nor afford opportunity to respond to such accusations. Moreover, some of those involved had an interest in the outcome - again at variance with Natural Justice!

The fact is that the EDP is owned and operated by its three principal creditors [see http://www.electoralcommission.org.u...maryborrow.cfm ] who, despite eventually being forced to declare lenders in excess of £5,000 (occasioned by the change in the EC's regulations in the wake of the shennanigans in the 2005 General Election), never informed the other members of the National Council and their personal interests in certain financial decisions.

You might also be interested to learn that, in conflict with Rule 10.8 of its Constitution, the Treasurer never produced and the National Council never adopted an annual budget of income & expenditure!

You might also be interested to discover that the English Democrats never made a proper record of the proceedings of its general meetings to include, for example, candidates for internal elections, the results, motions to be adopted and those which were etc etc. Neither does the National Council give a written report of its stewardship during the previous year prior to its AGM for adoption by the AGM!

Yep! The EDP is a really successful political party which suppresses any inconvenient factual postings on the COSG Forum.

The question is: are they worse than the devils we know? On present evidence, Yes and must therefore be viewed with great suspicion if not actively opposed!
