Default Cardboard images of EU leaders, Open Europe, newspapers

I've just had the BBC 1 Television news on and saw the 'Open Europe' cardboard cut outs of the leaders of the Governments of EU nations.

The cardboard images - showing Blair and others putting their fingers in their ears so they can't hear the people speaking - looked good, I thought.

I shall check the national newspapers tomorrow to see how many of them show pictures of these clever cardboard images.

* They have just shown them all again on BBC 2 Television Newsnight and described them as "a stunt by a British eurosceptic group". They did not name the group (Open Europe) but are now interviewing Derek Scott (formerly a Downing Street man during some of the Blair years). They have - unusually - not put his name up on the bottom of the screen; nor stated in writing (on the bottom of the screen) which organisation he is from (Open Europe). The reporter is David Grossman.
