It strikes me that, since the first clause of the UKIP constitution includes how the Treasurer can be dismissed, it would not be a rash assumption to think that the UKIP leadership sees the Treasurer's role as one who is likely to stand in it's way. Whereas the ED seem to be concerned that their party is run in accordance with financial propriety.
