If we don't allow a referendum then we are in the same position as Major's government which would have claimed that the Maastricht Treaty was supported by the people simply because they had voted his government into power. In reality when voting for a party you are usually voting for a raft of policies.
It is the first duty of Government to defend the People from outside Aggressors.
You don't need to hold a Referendum to defend the British people from the EU.

Or maybe some in UKIP haven't a Clue what the EU is about, dare I ask?
