Which is rubbish, if you believe in political parties having a set of values, sticking to them and fighting their corner.
If he is choosing to have a set of values which ignores the fact that the mainstream scientific view is that GW is caused by man, it is not far short of the flat earthers outlook.

He is entitled to his view, however, if he has any ambition to be a serious politician he has to make comments which are appropriate. I think the preponderance of the evidence is that he likes things just as they are - him, the leader of a Tory pressure group. His witchcraft statement was deliberately designed to ensure things stay that way!
