Yes, EU Blues, they (the bullying power-hungry EU) hold the cards. But Mr. O' Leary (Ryanair boss) can create some bad publicity for them if he has to - just as the attack by the fool Pearson (Environment minister) on Ryanair backfired yesterday because of Mr. O' Leary's professional and reasonable response in the UK media. 8)
Ryanair must have some influence with both the British and Irish Governments. It pays tax to both.
Who's worth more to the Blair/Brown Labour (Lie-bour) government - the obscure Pearson or Ryanair? It's Ryanair, of course. :P
If Lie-bour are seen to be causing problems to an airline such as Ryanair -which provides cheap tickets for millions of British voters to fly to see relatives and friends in many countries and to visit places they never imagined they'd see - then they (Lie-bour) could damage themselves.
