Did you miss all the accidents at Sellafield nee Windscales over the years? Mostly due to human error, humans being what they are.
I don't much like the idea of nuclear but I fear we don't have much choice if we want to keep the lights on. |
Tell you what MarkR,If you wish,you can provide your total fatalities list for the whole Nuclear field in this country for the last fifty years or more and we will put it up against ANY INDUSTRY in this country.
Note.There is no safer Industry of similar size or age as the British Nuclear
Industry.It beats the Oil,Gas,Coal and renewables hands down for safety and is one hell of a constant Energy/Power supplier.We have no choice and need a lot more of the NPS/NPPs. Time to fully back Nuclear,the Oil/Gas Giants wont like it much,but,have they ever done for anyone but themselves and the corrupt politicians who peddle there propaganda machines.
